The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to all riders using our transportation services. Please read them carefully before booking or using our services.

  • "Service": Transportation services for riders using 4-seater or 7-seater vehicles.
  • "Rider": The individual booking and using the service.
  • "Driver": The professional providing transportation services.
  • "Fare": The cost that the rider agrees to pay for the service.

2. Rights and Responsibilities

2.1. Rider Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate booking details: pickup/drop-off locations, departure time, and passenger count.
  • Adhere to safety regulations: wear seat belts, avoid carrying oversized luggage beyond the agreed limit, and follow other stipulated rules.

Settle all service charges and any applicable additional fees.

2.2. Provider Responsibilities

  • Ensure vehicles and drivers meet safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
  • Deliver services on time as per the confirmed booking details.
  • Retain the right to refuse service if riders violate regulations or cause disruptions.

3. Booking Policy

  • Rides must be booked at least 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.
  • Riders must provide complete and accurate information to avoid disruptions.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation 4 hours before departure: Free of charge.
  • Cancellation within 4 hours: 50% of the booking value will be charged.
  • No-show: No refund will be issued.

5. Service Fees and Payment

  • Fare: Fixed once Bookcar Sydney confirms the booking and provides a final cost.
  • Additional Fees: May include tolls, airport fees, waiting charges, and out-of-hours surcharges.

  • Payment Methods: Cash, bank transfer, or in-app payments.

6. Luggage Policy

  • Standard Allowance: Each rider is allowed one large suitcase and one carry-on bag.
  • Additional or Oversized Luggage: Riders must inform about oversized or extra luggage during the booking process. Additional charges may apply and will be communicated transparently before the journey begins.

7. Safety Regulations

7.1. Rider Compliance

  • Riders must wear seat belts throughout the trip, as required by law.
  • Prohibited items such as dangerous goods or flammable substances are not allowed on board.
  • Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

7.2. Prohibited Rider Behaviors

  • Avoid loud noises, harassment, or disruptive actions during the ride.
  • Refrain from damaging the vehicle or creating safety hazards.

7.3. Rider Cooperation

  • Cooperate with the driver as needed (e.g., luggage checks or verifying booking details).
  • Do not request illegal actions, such as running red lights or stopping in prohibited areas.

7.4. Driver Rights

  • Drivers may discontinue the service if riders fail to comply with safety rules or disrupt the journey.
  • Drivers have the right to report emergencies to the appropriate authorities.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. External Factors Beyond Control

  • Traffic Delays: Bookcar Sydney is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen traffic congestion. Riders are advised to book earlier during peak hours.
  • Weather Conditions: Delays caused by severe weather are beyond the provider's control, but updates will be shared promptly.

8.2. Luggage Issues

The provider is not responsible for lost or damaged luggage resulting from:

  • Rider failing to check their belongings before exiting the vehicle.
  • Improperly packed or fragile items.

8.3. Third-Party Incidents

  • The provider is not liable for disruptions caused by third-party actions, such as accidents, protests, or infrastructure failures.

9. Privacy Policy

  • Name, phone number, and address to facilitate bookings.
  • Payment details for transaction processing.

9.2. Purpose of Use

  • Manage bookings, provide updates, and enhance the rider experience.
